The AmSouth Tailgaiter Rolls On!!!

It's been a great fall as Sports 56 and the AmSouth Tailgater have been visiting all of the big games. I have been to Athens, Tuscaloosa, and Knoxville for the first time. I saw the #1 team in the BCS play, the #1 running back in Memphis history, and one of the last home games at Busch Stadium. Knoxville is coming up again this weekend as they host the Tigers. But that's not all. For the first time in AmSouth Tailgater history, the unprecendented double header on Saturday! Following halftime in Knoxville, we'll roll down to Athens as Georgia hosts Auburn in the deep south's oldest rivalry! Stay tuned to the blog for all of the info at all of the campuses for all of the games. Sports 56 is the only sports station in the South, not to mention Memphis, to be at the games every weekend! Upcoming schedule: November 12- (Memphis @ Tennessee / Auburn @ Georgia) November 19- (LSU @ Ole Miss) November 26- (Ole Miss @ Mississippi State). There will be more Tailgater's to come in December.

Randon Thoughts from the road
- Is it just me, or has Cheryl Crowe not only gotten better looking, but more entertaining with age?
- Owen Brennan's has the best bruch in town. They keep the glasses full!!
- Swig has quickly become the place to be seen in Memphis
- Hunan is the greatest value for food in town. $8.99 for an all you can eat buffet on Sunday. The buffet includes all of the greats, including an all you can eat (included) sushi bar! Pace yourself!
- When driving in a rental car, make sure the car is equipped with cruise control. It is a must!
- Eating a taco from Jack in the Box in the car has a 100% spill rate! The clothes will be soiled.
- Memphis needs a White Castles!
- Most underrated catch of the year- URIBE! (pictured)

Thanks to AmSouth Bank for letting me live out a sports fans dream fall season! We're happy to share our experiences with the fans of the Mid South. From the trouble mug in Athens, to the Vol Walk in Knoxville, to the Paul Bear Bryant Museum, I never thought I'd get to see all of these Southern Football traditions, let alone in one season! I hope everyone gets the opportunity to experience what I've been able to do this year. It can make a southern football fan out of a baseball fan from the midwest. Look what it did to my friend from the north- Lenny!
